Two different experiences are available on the Train Cruise of China: a 4-day, 3-night short-haul series and a 2-day, 1-night micro-vacation. The micro-vacation, which is in line with the tagline “The Train Is The Destination,” serves passengers who want the convenience of staying on board the entire time. In the afternoon, passengers board, eat a lavish meal, and then retire to their private staterooms. The next day, they disembark after breakfast. Travellers can take advantage of unique onboard activities such as gourmet tastings, spa treatments, cabaret performances, cocktail parties, jewellery lessons, art lectures, and afternoon tea while on board. Amenities like mahjong rooms and karaoke rooms further improve the experience, and a committed staff of train butlers is available 24/7.

According to Train of Glamour, the micro-vacation series is a flexible option for anyone searching for a unique way to start the new year, a romantic retreat, a fun celebration, or an inventive staycation. Inviting guests to celebrate in style, special holiday-themed meals have already been created for  Christmas and New Year’s Eve dinners.

The program for the 4-day, 3-night short-haul is interesting and includes a variety of activities off the train. Examples include the Tour of Double Cultural Heritages in East China, which takes visitors from Shanghai to Wuyishan and Huangshan and back, and the Tour of Scenic Spots in Guizhou and Guangxi, which connects Shenzhen or Guangzhou to Chongzuo, Xingyi, and Kunming. These tours maintain the high standards of the Train of Glamour, with vacation ambassadors offering attentive, family-style service throughout.

The Silk Road Express made its debut on July 6 (2024).It included 15 cars and 38 luxurious accommodations, all of which had private bathrooms. The Qinghai-Gansu line, its first route, provided a round-trip ticket from Xining to Dunhuang in 5 days and 4 nights. With options for a 6-day, 5-night trip or a longer 9-day, 8-night adventure, the train started operations on October 10 with the Traveling Around Southern Xinjiang.

This launch is Train of Glamour’s progressive step toward diversifying and improving its offerings, allowing more train travel aficionados to explore China’s vast landscapes and experience the appeal of domestic railway culture tourism in a short period of time. Looking ahead, Train of Glamour intends to continue innovating by producing more high-quality, creative and popular tourist trains.
