International technology brand HONOR unveiled the HONOR ALPHA PLAN, a new corporate strategy aimed at transforming the company from a manufacturer of smartphones to a world-renowned leader in the AI device ecosystem [March 3, 2025]. In addition to outlining the measures HONOR will take to usher in the new intelligent world, the visionary three-step plan urges the industry to collaborate in the development of an open, value-sharing ecosystem that optimizes human potential and eventually benefits all people.

“It is clear that the AI revolution will reshape the paradigm of the device industry – completely transforming our productivity, our society, and even our culture more than ever before,” said James Li, CEO of HONOR. “I am calling on all of us to unite together to address the challenges – as well as the many opportunities – of AI technology. HONOR ALPHA PLAN was selected because of its distinct symbolic significance. The initial letter in the Greek alphabet, alpha, represents HONOR’s unwavering quest for technological superiority. Furthermore, when the stroke joins the lowercase letter “α,” the Chinese word for humans (人) appears, reiterating HONOR’s dedication to human-centric innovation.

Three Steps

The creation of an intelligent phone is the first stage. In order to jointly develop a new paradigm for AI devices in the agentic AI future, HONOR will collaborate with partners to push technological boundaries. In the physical AI era, HONOR will then break down barriers within the industry and jointly develop a new paradigm for the AI ecosystem. Lastly, HONOR will co-create a new paradigm for society and push the bounds of human potential in the AGI future.

The intelligent phone at the centre of the first phase would incorporate human-centric AI, which is intended to maximize human potential. One example of this is the state-of-the-art AI technology called HONOR, which was showcased during the MWC Barcelona 2025 keynote address last week [March3-5, 2025].
