| Shaped like a silkworm cocoon, this box packaging housed an AI commercial service robot JELLY. The packaging is an epitome of combining functionality and style. The handle on the packaging echoes with the overall design language and provides a comfortable way to carry the robot. Utilizing safety material EPP, the box is lightweight, shockproof, pressure-resistant, providing a complete protection for the robot that simply cannot be achieved by conventional packaging material in the market. The reduced risk of damage makes transporting the entire robot possible, saving consumers trouble of assembling the robots at home. The package is also 100% recyclable, heralding a new wave of environmental-friendly design.
The DFA Awards were held on December 6, 2017 and organised by The Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) with Create Hong Kong of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government as the major sponsor.
