Advanced AI Computing Centre opens in Taiwan

The Asia Artificial Intelligence Computing Centre (AICC) is a premier intelligent computing hub in the region, established by Infinitix in July [2024]. The centre, created by ENLight with Supermicro, Infinitix, Chief Telecom, VMFIVE, and Besta, uses the H200 accelerated computing chip to enhance Taiwan’s position in AI technology worldwide.

Infinitix Partners with ENLight and Supermicro to Establish Asia’s Most Advanced AI Computing Centre

As Asia’s leading AI computing centre, the AICC will deploy 256 GPU servers equipped with H200 chips in Taipei. Infinitix will provide AI Infrastructure management and its computing power scheduling platform, AI-Stack, while Supermicro will provide the H200 GPU servers. Chief Telecom will contribute server rooms and network facilities of the highest quality.

Infinitix’s AI-Stack will be used for the centre’s management system and computing power setup, optimizing GPU performance through its third-generation GPU chip management technology. Upon completion in the fourth quarter of this year, the facility will provide robust computing support for a wide range of industries, enabling AI technology to be implemented in a practical manner.

Infinitix is Taiwan’s NVIDIA Preferred Solution Advisor, which specializes in AI chip-based GPU scheduling and AI platforms. Through its professional GPU management software, AI-Stack, GPU purchasers and computing centres are able to maximize system performance and maximize investment returns. As a result of the collaboration, AI-Stack’s computing centre management capabilities have also been refined.

There is a significant impact on multiple sectors, including government, semiconductors, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing, as a result of the establishment of the AICC. With strong government backing and industry collaboration, the AICC is poised to emerge as Asia’s top intelligent computing centre, placing Taiwan at the forefront of global artificial intelligence competition.
