Delta offers Hong Kong to LA direct service – June 2026
Starting on June 8, 2026, Delta will begin offering daily nonstop service between Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), further growing its Asia network.
Delta’s new nonstop service from Hong Kong to Los Angeles provides direct access to Los Angeles, while also unlocking more than 30 convenient one-stop connections from LAX.
The Delta–Korean Air Joint Venture collaboration is strengthened by the addition of the HKG–LAX service, which broadens the alliance’s scope and improves travel options for consumers around the Pacific.
Delta’s A350-900
Delta’s flagship Airbus A350-900, which offers four product experiences—Delta One Suite, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main—will operate daily flights from Hong Kong to LAX. Premium bedding, a seasonal chef-curated four-course dinner, and lie-flat seating with a sliding door are all features of the Delta One suite. For a more roomy and tranquil travel experience, Delta Premium Select offers wider seats with deeper recline and improved amenities.
With free access to more than 1,000 hours of material on Delta Studio, all travelers may take advantage of a variety of in-flight entertainment options.
Delta has over 160 peak-day flights to more than 50 destinations from Los Angeles, including Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland. This route builds on Delta’s success in Los Angeles.

Delta’s $2.3 billion makeover at LAX also includes the new Terminal 3, a 1.2-million-square-foot, 27-gate complex, and the Delta Sky Way. Highlights include an award-winning Delta Sky Club, an enlarged security checkpoint, and a central check-in lobby.
Customers who fly with Delta One to Hong Kong have exclusive access to the brand-new Delta One Lounge at LAX, which features almost 200 seats, a sushi bar open all year round, a rotating chef-curated menu, a wellness area with full-body massage chairs, and a design aesthetic influenced by Southern California’s natural and architectural splendor. Delta One check-in, a committed, concierge-style service from curb to gate, is another perk for these passengers.
